The passionate, expert surf instructors at Daybreakers lead group surf lessons year-round. Our classes are small, with a maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 4:1.

This is one of the lowest ratio caps of any surf school in Florida.

Whenever possible, we break up groups according to the respective skill levels of students so that beginners learn together while surfers with more developed skills move on to advanced techniques. All our instructors have advanced first aid training to ensure student safety, and all the necessary gear and equipment are provided. 

All ages are always welcome.

Having the personal, undivided attention of an expert surf instructor is the most effective way to build basic skills and master more advanced techniques. Our semi-private surf lessons are available to students of all ages, covering a succession of topics and areas of focus, including:

• Techniques for paddling through the break
• Maneuvering the surfboard
• Reading and selecting waves
• Turning
• Timing
• Surf etiquette
• Tides and other factors that affect wave quality

Beginning MARCH 1st - SEPTEMBER 4th, the surfing camp's emphasis is on ocean awareness, surfing techniques, surf etiquette, proper equipment, and wave selection. 

Our instructors specialize in all levels of surf instruction to help each camper. Whether they’re catching their first wave or taking their surfing to the next level.

• Top-of-the-line, hard and soft surfboards will be provided for all participants
• CPR certified instructors
• Camp runs from 9a to 12:30p
• Our daily private and group surfing lessons will continue at scheduled times.
